Session IPA
Brewed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Rivanna Trail Foundation.
Brewed using Phantasm, a new brewing product consisting of dehydrated New Zealand Sauv Blanc grape pomace. This product loads up the beer with thiol precursors which are later biotransformed by Cosmic Punch ale yeast into potent aroma and flavor compounds know as thiols (lending many of the tropical guava, pineapple & passion fruit flavors and aromas in this beer).

4.0% abv, low bitterness
Malt: Murphy & Rude English Pale, Murphy & Rude Biscuit malt, flaked oats
Hops: Whirlpool addition of El Dorado, Dry hopped with El Dorado & Mosaic
Fermented with Cosmic Punch thiolized ale yeast
Phantasm added to whirlpool for additional thiol precursors.
Orange/gold in color.
Aroma: Tropical, nectarine, guava
Flavor: Pink grapefruit, guava, red berries, passion fruit. Subtle pizza crust and digestive biscuit flavors linger on the finish.
